Study Information
-
Healthy participants were scanned at 3 visits with 3 scans per visit.
-
The system collects images in two views similar to mammography.
Sample results
-
Mammograms and UWB images for healthy participant with scattered breast density.
-
Symmetry is observed between right and left breasts in UWB images.

Summary results
-
Average properties of UWB images for 35 healthy participants are calculated for CC views. and plotted for scans (3 visits x 3 scans/visit for right and left breasts).
-
Similar properties are generally observed for all scans and between breasts.
-
For some participants (e.g. 14), a greater range of properties is noted. These participants tend to have smaller breasts that are more challenging to reposition.
-
Statistical analysis indicated excellent reproducibility (intraclass correlation coefficient >0.9).
